Gyalzing Bermiok is a assembly constituency of the Sikkim state which is in West Sikkim India, Pelling tourism destination circle. It is known for its mountain biking, nature walks, hiking, excursions, and the traditions and customs of the Limboo, Sherpa, Bhutia, Lepcha, and Nepalis.

Martam is a small village located in west Sikkim near to Bermiok Bazar. The village is rich in Limboo traditions and customs and is famous for the Limboo community temple. The first Limboo community temple was built at Martam West Sikkim and unveil in 1996.

Mahatma Teyongsi Srijunga was born in Martam and was later killed by there by the Bhutia. Every year during the full moon of December, the Limboo people celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Srijunga in the temple courtyard. This is followed by Limboo dance, prayer, Puja, priest dance, and Nepali Maruni dance. Boys and girls usually wear traditional attire for the day.

The view of the Khangchendzonga mountain range can also be seen from Hee Bermiok. The village contains homestays, hotels, and a resort. Hee Bermiok is also rich in cardamom and orange plantations.

Gyalshing Bermiok is approximately about 130 km from Siliguri. One can enjoy a joyous ride along the river Teesta on the way to Gyalshing Bermiok from Siliguri by road, till Melli, from where one enters into Sikkim and South district. From Melli, one has to proceed towards Jorethang to Gyalsing Bermiok. Gyalshing Bermiok is well connected with the rest of Sikkim through motorable roads. The Sikkim Nationalised Transport (SNT) buses plies regularly from Gyalshing to towns within the state and Siliguri. Private taxis are also available on regular basis for hire or on shared basis. 

The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri Station in West Bengal about 140 kms from Gyalshing Bermiok from where one can avail trains to different parts of the country and the nearest airport is Bagdogra in West Bengal about 145 kms which is a domestic airport and connected to the nearest international airport being Kolkata in West Bengal.
