Plantation Drive Announcement

This is to officially inform all members and the public that, as per the resolution taken during our previous meeting, a Plantation Drive has been scheduled along the Rangsang Khola to Rhenock Khola roadside stretch.

This initiative is a step towards promoting environmental conservation and enhancing the natural beauty of our region. We warmly appeal to all organisation members and the general public to actively participate and contribute towards this noble cause as part of our shared social responsibility.

On 13th June 2025, the Gyalsing Bermiok Tourism Development Organisation (GBTDO) successfully organized a large-scale Plantation Drive as part of its continued commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism development in the region. This initiative was carried out with the active participation and support of various organizations, volunteers, and local individuals.

With the active support of various local organizations, community groups, and dedicated individuals, the plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation and cooperation from all stakeholders. The event was organized to enhance the natural beauty of the region and contribute to environmental conservation efforts.

Total Saplings Planted: Approximately 2,000 saplings, including flowering and fruit-bearing plants
Plantation Areas Covered:

Road side of

- Rangsang Khola to Rhenock Khola
- Upper Bermiok
- Bhutay Khola to Upper Martam
Types of Plants: A mix of ornamental flowering species and indigenous fruiting plants suitable for the region's climate and soil.
