Our mission is to develop and promote Gyalsing and Bermiok as vibrant, eco-conscious travel destinations while ensuring that local communities benefit socially and economically from tourism. We aim to:

On 13th June 2025, the Gyalsing Bermiok Tourism Development Organisation (GBTDO) successfully organized a large-scale Plantation Drive as part of its continued commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism development in the region. This initiative was carried out with the active participation and support of various organizations, volunteers, and local individuals.
With the active support of various local organizations, community groups, and dedicated individuals, the plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation and cooperation from all stakeholders. The event was organized to enhance the natural beauty of the region and contribute to environmental conservation efforts.
Total Saplings Planted: Approximately 2,000 saplings, including flowering and fruit-bearing plants

Types of Plants: A mix of ornamental flowering species and indigenous fruiting plants suitable for the region's climate and soil.
Under the initiative of our Chief Patron, Hon’ble MLA Shri Lok Nath Sharma, our organization successfully conducted a one-day workshop on the "Unnati" tourism scheme. The event was held at the Bermiok GPU Community Hall with the active participation of departmental officials. The primary objective of the workshop was to raise awareness and guide the local public on the various opportunities and benefits offered under the Unnati scheme. The program witnessed an encouraging response from the community, fostering dialogue and direct engagement between the public and officials for better understanding and implementation of tourism initiatives.

Presented our ongoing “Digital Gyalsing” initiative aimed at training homestay owners in social media marketing, listing management, and customer service.
